In 2020, the existing surface treatment system was adapted into a cathodic dip coating (CDC) and powder coating system. This conversion now enables coating of the highest quality and in accordance with the highest environmental standards.
This results in a reduction of over 70% of the solvents previously used in the wet painting process, and the additional energy required is supplied by an adjacent photovoltaic power plant.
